Acceptable Use Policy

Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your conduct on awfx.ai, including journal entries, AI Companion interactions, Community Circles, and all other platform features. By using awfx.ai, you agree to comply with this policy.

Prohibited Content & Conduct

You may not use awfx.ai to:

  • Encourage self-harm or suicide: Do not post content that glorifies, encourages, or provides instructions for self-harm or suicide.
  • Harass or bully: Do not target, intimidate, threaten, or harass other users.
  • Share hate speech: Do not promote violence or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics.
  • Post illegal content: Do not share content that violates applicable laws, including child exploitation material.
  • Spam or manipulate: Do not use automated systems to spam, scrape, or manipulate the platform.
  • Impersonate: Do not impersonate other users, professionals, or awfx.ai staff.
  • Share others' private information: Do not post personally identifiable information of others without consent.
  • Provide clinical advice: Do not present yourself as a licensed professional in Community Circles unless verified.
  • Exploit the AI: Do not attempt to manipulate the AI Companion to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content.

Community Circles Guidelines

Community Circles are peer-support spaces. Additional rules:

  • Be respectful and supportive
  • Share your own experience; don't prescribe solutions
  • Respect others' privacy — don't share Circle content outside the platform
  • Report concerning content using the in-app report button
  • If someone appears to be in crisis, encourage them to contact 988 or emergency services

Enforcement

  • Content removal: We may remove content that violates this policy, typically within 24 hours of report.
  • Warnings: First-time minor violations may result in a warning.
  • Suspension: Repeated or serious violations may result in temporary suspension.
  • Termination: Severe violations (e.g., encouraging self-harm, illegal content) may result in immediate account termination.
  • Appeals: You may appeal enforcement actions by emailing appeals@awfx.ai within 14 days.

Reporting

If you see content that violates this policy, please report it using the in-app reporting feature or email safety@awfx.ai. We review all reports and take action as described above.
